Men’s Ministry – Grounds Clean-up – March 25th, 2023 @ 9:00 AM – THANK YOU!
The Men’s Ministry will clean-up the area around the basketball court.
When is it?
Grounds clean-up starts on March 25th, 2023 at 9:00 AM. This was originally scheduled for March 18th but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable to you. However, we’ll be outside and there will be broken branches, stickers, and other unexpected outside obstacles. Please check the weather prior to arriving.
The following clothing items are suggested:
- Long pants (jeans, sweat-pants, over-all’s)
- Long sleeve shirt (sweatshirt, old work shirt, hoodie)
- Socks (protect your ankles)
- Work shoes (work boots, old sneakers)
- Thick socks
- Gloves (protect your hands)
- Hat
What tools do we need?
Please bring any tools that can be used to work outside.
The following tools are suggested:
- Chainsaw (gas or electric; if electric, make sure your batteries are charged)
- Axe
- Hand saw
- Yard rake
- Wheelbarrow
- Hedge shears
- Pruners
- Gas
- 2-cycle and 4-cycle engine oil (40:1 and/or 50:1 premix)
- Other (anything else you think may be needed to work outside)
Anything else?
Bring your energy. Before you start working make sure you:
- Eat something
- Stay hydrated (as we work); drink water or Gatorade or Powerade
- Take a break if/when you get tired
