✨ Recap: A Night to Remember at Greater Fort Clarke MBC! ✨
Saturday night, April 12, 2025 at 5PM, was nothing short of heavenly at Greater Fort Clarke Missionary Baptist Church (GFCMBC)! With beautiful weather setting the scene, our sanctuary lit up for our very first Night-In-White — a visionary event dreamed up by our very own Pastor Stacey Graham. And what a night it was!
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere radiated elegance and unity. Dressed head to toe in crisp summer white, attendees filled the room in dazzling maxi dresses, sharp linen suits, and stylish spring flair — all reflecting the season of Lent, a time of reflection, prayer, fasting, and giving.
💫 As guests entered, they were welcomed with a heartfelt token — a small wooden cross inscribed with:
“Here’s a little wooden cross to hold onto while you pray. It will remind you daily of what HE did to help you find your way.”
The hour-long program was both soul-stirring and enlightening. Our deacons led the way with powerful reflections:
🙏 Deacon Andre Daniels, Sr. shared The Power of Prayer
🛐 Deacon Lonnie Scott spoke on The Power of Fasting
🤲 Deacon Willie Williams moved hearts with The Power of Almsgiving
✨ Between messages, the GFCMBC choir filled the sanctuary with spirit-lifting songs, beautifully setting the tone for worship and reflection.
🔥 The energy soared as Pastor Standley Gillings of Ocala delivered a dynamic, scripture-filled message that touched every heart in the room. His sermon, full of faith-based wisdom and life-affirming stories, left a lasting impact.
One of the most breathtaking moments of the night? The dramatization of “Salvation’s Story: The Walk to Crucifixion.” Pastor Graham and the Deacons solemnly carried a wooden cross down the aisle, through the church, and out the doors — as Dr. Barbara Henry read the powerful narrative. It was a moment of silence, awe, and reverence no one will forget.
🙏 After the benediction, guests gathered in Fellowship Hall for a delicious to-go meal of chicken salad, a sweet treat, and a refreshing drink — the perfect ending to a night filled with grace, gratitude, and God’s glory.
